This month's doctor's appointment

was probably the fastest OB doctor's appointment I've ever had!

I'm still getting used to this new doctor, I guess :) My old doctor usually had me on her bed while checking for my tummy and I checked archives, she also tried to hear heartbeat with her handheld doppler as well.

This new doctor just asked me how I was feeling and in fact, I am feeling great. I am not sick anymore (thank God) and I definitely feel more energetic. I no longer feel the need to nap at work after lunch, haha. Walking is easy again too. So since I was feeling ok, he just gave me a doctor's note for our flight next week and sent me on my merry way.

I wonder if this has something to do with ultrasounds not even letting you hear heartbeats so early? Must be a new policy or something.

Anyway, we do have a mid-way ultrasound scheduled for next month's check up! I will be heading into my 19th week by that time. I am looking forward to seeing baby again! I'm sure the next few weeks will fly by - aside from our flight next weekend, it is also our 10th anniversary the weekend after (so we have leaves), Tala and Kael will head back to school a week after then it's ultrasound time again the week after that. Plus work promises to be busy, unfortunately.

I will also have another CBC, clotting time and urinalysis tests in time for next month's check up. This doctor likes to do lab tests and checks from there if there's anything that needs to be worked on. I think that makes sense. I wonder if the same method was done with my second pregnancy if we were able to detect earlier why I was having very sore legs and that I actually needed to supplement my potassium and sodium levels. ANYWAY. That's all water under the bridge.

So my tummy size has finally kinda caught up with how far along I really am. I just learned that I am officially on my fourth month of pregnancy! I've been keeping track of weeks so I get all confused with the months (I have to google). I mean, now this tummy really kinda makes sense.

Here's hoping my energy levels stay high and that I'll continue to feel better! Been praying very hard for a pregnancy with no added sicknesses (eg. gestational diabetes) and that we'll be smooth sailing! Please pray with me :)
